Live Journal/Capitol
Normally I would use Xanga, but I heard you can get a free account now on livejournal. Evan my co-worker over at my internship @ Capitol Records uses this, and if he does it must be cool :-) Right now I've never been more bored in my entire life. If I was home in San Diego, I'd probably be doing the same thing, but seriously, you would think that if I'm in my hometown that hanging out with old friends would be easy... but its not... everyone has some crazy life agenda of their own, and I'm stuck here watching Paul McCartney's "Give My Regards" movie with my dad. My friend Beth from San Diego is actually moving down here to L.A. as well, and I would be with her right now, but shes go-go dancing somewhere in Hollywood. I'm too fat for that kinda Sh*t... or at least I think I am. God knows my ass does not belong on any pole..haha. Hollywood traffic sucks sooo much too, one time my friend Melinda and I were driving up and down the streets looking for a place to park under 20$ and it was sooo not happening. All we wanted to do was have a drink with Matt Damon @ Justin Timberlake's restaurant and smoke 1 goddamn cigarrette!!! Is that too much to ask for?:-)
But Fri. work @ Capitol was really fun. I met a new intern, Evan that day and we spent most of the afternoon running around the building talking to new people. It was his friend Greg's b-day so we had cake and champagne upstairs from the recording studio. Then some crazy dude in this rock band asked me to come to listen him record his "loud" guitar parts and I was dying to get out of there... Afterwards, after I raided the "cd cabinet" for free cds, Evan and I ordered as many cds from the Capitol Catalouge as we could.I think the amount of Beatles cds we ordered was out of control, but I'm trying to complete my collection..god bless the beatles for being on EMI/Capitol Records! I look at it as my payment for driving my S.D. ass all the way to Hollywood twice a week!!!
