a short update for all y'all at home.
I have successfully gotten lost at least twice, one for better...one for worse.erg
Warped tour was a blast, but it makes me feel like I'm getting old, I was tired by like 4:00, but had to keep going damnit. Got to watch Circa side stage, and was thrown into getting an awkward (and *gush* amaaazing) photo with Katy and the lovely Anthony Green.
The Matches have evolved into something incredible, go listen to their new stuff, watch the new videos, and just WOW. even an OH WOW.
Skipped out on the mobs of Killswitch and Meg and Dia, watched a band a little closer to heart for me, Crash Romeo.
Metal was as off the wall as we have come to expect, and goddamn do I love him more every year. We crashed the FBR tent, stared at The Confession whenever we got the chance.
Bayside, just GAH BAYSIDE I've never seen them look so happy as they did playing in their hometown.
oh and NY kids at warped dancing for Still Remains? ummmm looked REALLY dumb.
got a tickle in my throat that night...
which turned into a cough...which turned into a sore throat, a cough and a fever....
But I am relentless. Sudafed, Airborne, and Robitussin. I will be fine for the plane ride home.
Bring on the awkward tonight! Bombers, and other bands with people we know in them....
Philly this weekend. Hoping to sweat out this bug and not have to go the hospital for antibiotics, but if my head doesn't un-fishbowl itself then I probably should, seeing how I have a show 10 days after I get home.
I'm just glad it's not strep for once.
There was a tornado 2 nights ago, but I thought the storm in our area was lovely, it cooled down the whole apartment...but the next morning trains weren't running. All fixed now.
off to shower, and try to pretty up for the evening. It's kind of a dress to impress night for us, I'm sick but I'm pretty...ha.
