Stupid watch!
I just got a call from the Tagheuer store. It's going to cost AUD$285 to have my watch repaired. GREAT.
A few months ago, before Christmas, I fell really badly and hurt myself. It was raining and the fall was awkward; I used my wrist (and my wrist watch) to break my fall. It wasn't working for a few days after that but after giving it a good shake (it's a chronometer), it started running again. It would stop occasionally but, again, a good shake would get it running.
Then it just stopped again. This time, no amount of shaking was going to bring it back to life. The guy said there was an obstruction in the rip-him-off-ometer.
Great. and here I was, so proud that I'd paid off my ski trip.
