(no subject)
It has been a LONG while. I've been so busy with stuff, sorry for not reading/commenting in anyone's journals...there's just not been time to. Considering I'm now almost three weeks behind, I dont think I'll be catching up either....sorry. I'm doing okay tho, I have not fallen off the planet, life is good, and a bit faster paced which just means I now HAVE a life. Heh...anyway...
So, good news, bad news/update....*sigh* bad news...I didn't get my loan for classes, BUT I'm not giving up, I have two other options left to try. I'll let you know how those work out.
Good news....YAY....Joshua went to his first day of school today. What does that mean? I was finally able to complete all the *fun* required registration paperwork. Physicals were aquired...again, vaccination records(which are unfortunately mandatory here) were transferred over, proof that I actually LIVE here was verified...etc, etc, etc... Now all I have to do is fill out all the new papers they handed me in that rather ominously large folder I've been avoiding all day. Eh, I'll do it on Sunday. I mean the lady in the office DID tell me that I can hand those back to his teacher in the next few days, so why not?

I have been spending a LOT of time with my mother, talking to her on the phone or at her house, and it makes me realize how much I actually missed being around her growing up. Last night we spoke on the phone for over four hours. We both had a hard time hanging up/ending the conversation, and right at the end she told me that she likes talking to me, she doesn't get to talk to anyone the way she does to me. She said I'm a very easy person to talk to, and I told her I've been told that many times before. She said, "It's because you're a good listener. Never change that." I think my mom is the same way too. It's nice.
