fun, fun

We just played our show at the Haven, and let me tell you, it was interesting. Our friends in Gasworks got us the show; that was nice of them. I've heard a lot of horror stories about the Haven, but I didn't care, because it's a show. Basically it turned out like this: no one really showed up, the only people there were a few friend, the bands, and the barflyies. But guess what, we had a fucking blast. I'd say it was one of our tighter shows, and we are only getting more confident on stage.

I love playing with alex, nothing is better. I almost crack up in the middle of songs when I look over and he is rocking out. Makes me really happy. We seemed to interact more on stage for this show, than the last few. And twice when we were both rocking out, I stabbed him with my guitar. And later in the show, he tried to kick me in the nuts. Haha, I love that kid. *Note: I tried to interact with Ryan, but he just doesn't have the time, he is too busy making us sound good. He played amazing as usual*

So, we still haven't made an "official" cover for the EP yet (that we plan to silkscreen on the digipaks). So, Lex spray painted 10 of them to sell at the show. But, since the turn out was...well...nonexistent, we didn't sell any. Haha, but that's fine by me, because we got $45 for the show, and as Ryan Rodgers pointed out, "That's like selling 15 cds." Good point.

The guy who did the lighting, and FOG!, tried to buy a cd. But I wouldn't let him. I just gave him one, and he made us sign it. I wrote this:

To DJ Scream, thanks for the Fog! Love, ...says i

So, in conclusion, it was a shitty show. But it was a blast. Rock & Roll baby!

*Thanks to all the friends who came out to the show on such short notice, we love you: Phil, Jose, Susie, Stacy, Catherine, Cat's 2 friends, Ryan #2, and Joanna. You guys made my night*

...we also ate pizza.
