My wooden tree house,
is a wonderful place,
There's a floor for you to sleep on,
and a metal lock to hold you in,

My wooden tree house,
is raised off the ground,
It's not quite a castle in the sky,
but at least it's off the ground,

My wooden tree house,
is such a safe place,
It can protect you from hurt,
It can even protect your heart,

I've got a problem though,
Y'see, there's a flower,
I see it through my window,
a'floating in the sky,

I wanna let its scent flow through me,
hold it as my own,
I want it to want me,
take me as its own,

Then let it continue its travels,
Me, I'll leave my home,
There's a whole world to see,
As long as I'm not alone,

I reach, I fall,
I cry,
I reach, I trip,
I walk,
and sigh,

My wooden tree house,
has no ladder,
I'm sitting on the ground looking up,
and see the flower,

It's floating through my tree house,
a place I wish I could be,
I yearn, and yearn, and yearn,
But that place is no more for me.
