glaring at nothing
I close my eyes and stare blindly at the darkness
a small light appears out of nowhere
perhaps I need to tighten my eyelids but no
the light flutters about with no apparent driver
so I concentrate, I came here for nothingness
that false sense of peace and ease or calmness
where nothing is an oasis
so I glare at the abyss
in pursuit of nihil
you'd think it be abundant but nay
one must seek its infinity
