Rogue didn't want to go back to her own hut, so Pullo directed them to the tent he shared with Lucius. It was closer, anyhow. Lucius was inside sleeping, or pretending to, and after Pullo had a brief conversation with his friend, in which he explained he had a goddess outside, a real and actual goddess, Lucius left with a scowl and the tent was empty.
"Victory is ours," Pullo said with a cheeky grin, though now that they were alone Pullo wasted no time capturing Rogue's mouth with his own, this time his kiss was a little less gentle. He drew her to him with his hands on her bare upper arms, and nudged them backwards toward the entrance.
