Ideas in dining and cooking.

Recently, glaswegian_took and I discovered a new place we like to eat called "Nothing But Noodles." It is located in the shopping center at the corner of University and Enterprise at the entrance to Research Park. Unless, you add meat or tofu the noodle bowls are vegatarian mostly and a healthy alternative to most of the surrounding fast food places. I thought I'd mention it if you want to try something different, great tasting, and healthy. It is a bit on the pricey side, but not as much as a sit down restraunt. They offer noodle dishes with an Americana, Asian, and Italian flair. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is neat with a sort of interesting contemporary decor. I recommend the spicy Japanese noodles and the Cajun noodles.

While on the subject of food one thing I want to do is cook more and save money by eating out less. It is a sort of lesser New Year's resolution. The spicy Japanese noodles I mentioned prior are something I am going to try and attempt to make at home. Wish me luck as I will be troubleshooting how to make the lime-sugar soy sauce. If anyone is familiar with this sauce or they have suggestions on how I should approach this dilemma leave me a comment. I'd also like you guys to post recipe ideas that fall within the following catergories to help get my cooking off to a great start with the new year. It needs to be cheap to make, quick to make, reasonably healthy, and good. I appreciate any suggestions I get.
