[ CHAPTER 4 - Old Woman ]
While on the way to school, Akina’s phone vibrated.
‘ Akina-chan~! Ohayou! Take care while on the way to school!’ Akina read Yamada’s message. Since the day she got to spend some time with Hey!Say!JUMP, her life changed. That is because none of them ever forgets to send her some messages and calls every day. She was so glad that Takaki and Kei weren’t that selfish to not introduce her to the other JUMP members.
‘Hai! Ohayou, Yamada-san! You too, take care :)’ Akina replied. A few moments later, she was busy replying all of JUMP’s message to her.
In School…
Akina peeked under her desk to see if there’s another batch of “love letters”. She was so happy when she saw none!
“Finally! I can have peace~” Akina said to herself and sat on her chair. She was about to take a book out of her bag when her cellphone rang. It was a call from her dad. Akina hurriedly went inside the comfort room and answered her call.
“Otou-chan! Ohayou.”
“Hai, ohayou, Akina-chan.”
“It’s so rare for you to call me while in school…what’s up?”
“Nothing, just want to tell you that we’re going to have dinner at a very nice restaurant later.”
“Really?! That’s g-great!”
“Well then, see you at the mansion.”
“Hai~”
“Jya~ Do your best in school! Like always!” her dad then hung up.
During lunch time, Akina ate by herself, but she wasn’t lonely. Whenever JUMP sends her a message, she feels really happy.
‘Akina-chan~ I’ll fetch you there after school.
' Akina was shocked but happy when she read Yamada’s message.
‘Are you serious? Why so suddenly?’ Akina replied. Less than a minute later, Akina read Yamada’s reply.
‘Well, your mansion is only a few meters away from my house~ so, I thought that maybe we could go home together.
’
‘Okay. I think it’s not that bad after all. But you must come here early since I might be late for dinner.
’
‘I see, okay. See you later, then~
’
After School…
Akina was already arranging her things and was about to go out when one of her classmates shouted…
“Uwaa!!! Yamada Ryosuke is outside!” she ran to the window and saw Yamada standing near the entrance. There were fans waving at him and took pictures of him and shouting, ‘Yamada Ryosuke-kun~!’ He was emotionless and didn’t even care about his fans.
‘It seems like he didn’t care about the commotion…’ Akina thought and went outside.
When Yamada saw her coming, he smiled at her.
“Let’s go?” Yamada smiled and offered her to hold his hands. Even though Akina was shy, she held his hands. When they walking, some of Akina’s schoolmates followed her and Yamada and took some pictures of them.
‘It’s the paparazzi again…darn it!’ Yamada said to himself without noticing that he’s been holding Akina’s hands tighter. But it didn’t hurt since it was a light grip. At the station, Yamada was still holding Akina’s hands. People were staring at them, mostly girls. But they didn’t mind it. An old lady was standing and looked as if she was going to fall. Akina saw her and told her to take her seat. Since Yamada was a gentleman, he offered the old woman his seat and took her place. The old woman was so happy because the two were too kind to offer her their seats. But Yamada and Akina were still holding hands.
“Arigatou gozaimasu.” The old woman said and bowed slightly.
“No problem~” the two said in unison and laughed together with the old woman. The old woman told them that they are both really good-looking and cute couple.
“A-ah, we’re not couples…we’re just friends.” Akina corrected the old woman.
“Oh? But you look really good together! And you’re even holding each other’s hands!” the old woman insisted and giggled. Akina blushed from what the old woman said, but Yamada was smiling. The old woman told them about her life. How she found her first love, got married and had children. Since it was inevitable, there were some JUMP fans on the same train with them. They took pictures of them talking to an old woman and Yamada and Akina holding hands. Few minutes later, they finally need to get off the train. They accompanied the old woman as they got off and waved her goodbye. She thanked them and said goodbye.
