Loving Idols
[ CHAPTER 2 - Paparazzi ]
Akina’s parents knew that she was going to meet up with Hey!Say!JUMP and they were happy for her. She was so excited that she woke up before her alarm clock rang! After washing her face, she ate her Asagohan, tooth brushed and gargled, took a bath, groomed her hair and was dressed stylishly-simple, cute and neat. She wore pumps. She put powder on her face and lip-glossed her lips. But she didn’t put any make-up on her face. A few moments later, she went outside and saw Takaki there, leaning against the post wearing a cap, sunglasses and a jacket paired with jeans. Akina hurriedly went to their gate and called Takaki’s attention.
“Ah! Good timing!” Takaki said. The guard opened the gate and let Akina go out.
“Did you wait for too long?” Akina asked as they walked going to the station.
“Nope~ I think I waited for about…a minute or two.”
“I see…” As the two were walking, a lot of people were staring at them. They were thinking that Takaki and Akina were dating, so there were also people, and some fans, taking pictures of them. He has fallen head over heels with Akina. Takaki noticed that there were some who took pictures but he didn’t care. Akina didn’t know. Suddenly, while on the way to the station…
“Ne, Akina-chan…”
“Hai?”
“Can I hold your hands?”
“A-ah…” “I don’t mean anything you know. Just want to hold it…is it okay?” Takaki interrupted.
“Sure…I guess?” Since Takaki knew that Akina didn’t notice the paparazzi around, he took the chance since he was thinking that maybe they’ll be rumoured to be dating and it might actually happen in real life. Finally, they arrived at the station and rode an early train. Still, many people were staring at them, thinking if they were dating. Takaki took off his cap and put it on Akina’s head. He was thinking that maybe his plan will work effectively through this.
“Eh? Yuya-kun, why did you put your cap on my head?”
“I’m doing this because there are people staring at us…” Takaki said with a low voice. He placed one of his arms on Akina’s shoulder, making her blush.
“Oh. Okay. Thanks.” Akina and Takaki exchanged smiles and didn’t talk to each other.
