[ Chapter 1.0 - The Pseudo Love Game Begins (Yamada’s Game) ]
“Oi! Yama-chan!” Yabu said and ran towards them.
“Oi~ Yabu-kun! Will you please lower your voice?! They [A/N: the fans, the people around] might know that we’re here! You’ll blow our cover!” Yamada scolded Yabu.
“Gomen~ I was just happy to see you! And also A-ki-na-cha~n!”
“Haha! Same here, I’m happy to see you, Yabu-kun. How are you?”
“Well I’m not happy to see you! You’ll just ruin our moment here!” Yamada said in his mind.
“Just the same, still alive and energetic~ how about you? How’s your life with Yama-chan?”
“I guess it’s fine.” She said as she slightly looked down. She remembered the events that happened last night with Yamada.
“What do you mean? Did Yama-chan do anything to you?!” Yabu exclaimed as he looked at Yamada.
“Eh? What? Are you talking about me?” Yamada said as he pointed to himself.
“Who else would be living in the same house as Akina-chan? Of course it’s YOU!” Yabu and Yamada were looking at each other fiercely, making Akina worry.
“Hey, hey. Come on guys, stop it.” She said as she pushed the two guys apart.
“Ne, Yabu-kun, thanks for your concern. But Ryo-chan didn’t do anything to me last night. You don’t need to worry.”
“She lied. She lied, for me…” Yamada said to himself as he looked at Akina say those words.
“Are you sure? Well anyway, if he’ll do something horrible to you or something you definitely don’t like, just call me, text me or come to my house, okay?” Yabu said to her while his eyes are on Yamada.
“Okay. I will! Thanks.”
“No problem! I’m always willing to help anytime.” Yabu said as he smiled to her.
“So, where do you plan to go? By the way, what are you doing here, outside?” he asked.
“I asked Ryo-chan if he could accompany me in shopping for clothes.”
“Oh, okay. Can I come along?”
“Sure! It would be more fun!” she smiled at Yabu that made his heart beat faster.
“O-oi, Yama-chan! Don’t space out! Are you coming along? Or not?”
“H-ha? Of course I’ll come!” The three continued to shop until night. The three decided to go back home since they were extremely tired from walking.
“Oyasumi, Yabu-ku~n! Thanks for accompanying us! Take care.” Akina said.
“Hai~ it’s my pleasure~ remember what I told you a while ago, don’t forget to call me, text me or go to my house if you have problems with you know who, okay?”
“Ha~i!” she waved him goodbye and waited to see him off.
“Was he talking about me?” Yamada asked. Akina just smiled at him and ran away.
“You need to chase me first!” she stopped and stuck out her tongue.
“Oi~ that’s unfair pretty lady!” he said as he chased Akina until they reached home. The two changed their clothes and went to their respective bedrooms and slept.
The next morning…
*phone ringing*
“[Calling: Dad] oh, it’s from dad. Ohayou, otousan~”
“Ohayou, Akina-chan. How are you? How is Yamada-san?”
“We’re both fine. How about you and okaasan? We went shopping yesterday and saw Yabu-kun. The three of us went shopping together.”
“Wow! That’s a really good news to hear. Did you enjoy? Have fun? Your mom and I are doing well here, but the mansion is kinda lonely without you.”
“I had fun and enjoyed it! It’s also good to hear that you and mom are doing well. But I hope that you’ll get used of me not being there always.”
“Well, I don’t know if that’ll happen. It’s really difficult to easily forget your presence. Even the butlers, the maids, the guards, the gardeners and the chefs admit that they already miss you so much.”
“Aw~ I’m so happy to know that they didn’t forget me. Please tell them that I’m doing fine here and I miss them, too.”
“Okay, got it. You’re pretty close with them, no?”
“Kinda. They have been there since I was small.”
“No wonder they miss you so much.” Her dad laughed.
“Yeah~”
“Oh, I need to hung up now or else I’ll be late for my meeting this morning.”
“Okay~ take care!”
“You, too. Bye.” Her dad was about to hung up when he remembered something.
“Ah! Akina-chan! Your mom will go there later to accompany you to your new school.”
“Really?! Yatta~ finally! Thanks, dad!”
“You’re welcome! Jyaa, gotta go now.”
“Okay, bye.” After her father hung upped, she hurriedly went inside Yamada’s room. She was excited to tell her about what her dad said.
“Ryo---” she was cut off by a half-naked Yamada Ryosuke in front of her! [A/N: *nosebleed*]
“Just finished taking a bath.” He said as he took a blow drier and dried his hair.
“M-m-m” Akina stuttered while looking at Yamada’s sexy abs. [A/N: yum, yum~ wanna see that in real life! XD]
“What? I can’t understand you.” He said as he looked at her.
“M-mom is coming to our house later. S-she” Yamada stopped blow drying and went closer to her. He knew that she was amazed by his sexy abs.
“S-sh-she will be accompanying me t-to my new s-school.”
“Oh~ well, I think” he went closer and held her hips. Akina got nervous and closed her eyes.
“I think I should cook breakfast AND you should take a bath.” He raised his left eyebrow and gave her a grin.
“I guess…” she quickly ran and went to her room.
“My gosh! I didn’t expect that he has those sexy abs!” she went directly to her bathroom and kept on thinking about Yamada’s abs. She can’t stop herself from smiling and giggling. [A/N: maybe it’s too sexy? c[x ] After about half an hour of soaking in the bath tub, Akina changed her clothes and went down.
“Hmmm~” she was fascinated by the smell of Yamada’s cooking.
“It smells really good!” she complimented.
“Only smells good? How about the taste?” he offered her some amount of the dishes that he cooked.
“Wow! It’s really delicious! Uwaa~” she said as she looked at him and smiled.
“Of course it’s good! Haha! I’m a legend at cooking, you know.” He bragged.
“Whatever~” she said lovingly.
“Hey, about yesterday…” he started. Akina just looked and listened to him.
“Thanks for lying for me.”
“What are you talking about?”
“You know, when Yabu-kun asked you if I did something bad to you and you said that I didn’t do anything to you…”
“Oh, that? It’s no big deal.” She smiled at him.
“You sure? Please forgive me for what happened the other day. Can I do something for you? Just to repay you.”
“It’s okay.” She said. “But in return, you must always make me happy and don’t leave me… I don’t want something to happen to you…”
“What do you mean?” he sat down and held her hands. Akina got teary eyes that made him worry.
“Don’t cry. What happened?”
“It’s nothing.” She wiped her tears away while Yamada held her hands tighter.
“Say it, please?” he begged as Akina thought if she should talk about it.
“Well…” Yamada was eager to hear it, so he listened properly. “Well… my bestfriend Yui, died from an accident… it was on my birthday… she told me that she can’t stay for too long because they will still travel all the way to Osaka. They were almost hi-jacked and robbed, the two were acquaintances. But luckily, her father was able to run away from them. But the robber shot two of their car’s wheel and they crashed into a building. Then, some concretes fell down, crushing her mom and dad. Almost unrecognizable, as what the police said. But Yui was able to get outside the car and was able to call me before she died… it was really horrible.” Akina’s tears suddenly fell down. Yamada sympathized with her. He hugged her and kissed her on the forehead.
“It’s okay. Just let your tears fall. I’ll be here to make you happy and I’ll never leave you.” After that, the two decided to eat, forget about the event and think of it as a horrible past event that happened. The story that Akina told him was left in his mind. He couldn’t stop thinking that behind those smiles that she gives, she’s always going through a pain that she just couldn’t tell to anybody easily.
