2 memes - Sam and Lindsay
Naturally, if you want I can give you 5 things that remind me of you/ I associate with you.
First my 5 things from Sam:
1. Hunters- Yes, I mostly show in the hunters, BUT that's really because that's what we have around here. I'm not sure what exactly I'd do if we had a real horse scene in the area. I'd probably dabble in everything. I like the hunters, but I train it very differently. All my horses have a dressage background and using themselves properly is of utmost importance. In many circles you have "tricks" and shortcuts to get the "look" many people like to see in the hunters. *shrug* My style is a little of everything.
2. Aedan - Ah yes, the sale horse I've owned since June 2007. I have mostly accepted that he's never going to get sold. He's got fat ankles (that don't bother him at all) and a bit of an attitude problem. I think he's great and all the girls who ride him regularly love him, but sadly, he's just one of those horses that if you come to trial him to buy him you're NOT going to have a good first ride and you're NOT going to click....so he'll probably be mine forever.
3. Brian - (also known as Toxic) the best boyfriend a girl could ask for. He really puts up with my shit, and takes on all the tons of things that come with dating me (and my farm). I think he's sexy and hilarious and he's my best friend in the whole world.
4. PA - Yup, I'm from PA. Born and raised (mostly, except summering in VA for a few years when I was younger)
5. CRUNCHES WITH PUNCHES - sam is crazy, I need her exercise motivation so I can do these NOT as a joke.
1. Pennsylvania - cheaters!!!! (see #5 above)
2. Andrew - best horse in the world. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old. Love him to death. He is currently in boot camp to prepare his ass for winter series.
Last year he was Best Horse of the Series, and Reserve Champ in his 2'3" Hunter div.
3. Snark-Fest - ah yes. In the past I was hospitable and welcomed large groups of LJ girls into my home for days at a time. They'd sleep on my couch, use my shower, ride my horses, eat my food. It was loads and loads of fun but I'm not so sure I'll be so quick to do that again.
4. Tenacity - thank you. :) I'm assuming this was meant in the common usage of the word and not the original meaning of the word which would sort of insinuate I stick to you, or to others or am clingy? Instead I'd like to think you mean I stick to my guns and TRY not to let my own doubts or other's negativity change my course. If I see something and I want it, I go out and get it. :)
5. Rock N Roll!!!! - YES!!! :) Music is so important to me. It's hilarious to me every time I listen to the music on my phone the strange assortment of things I listen to on a daily basis, from techno to punk to riotgrrl, to classic rock to emo and indie to hiphop. I can usually find one or two bands that I love in common with most people.
