After, what, going on 20 years of dinking around with all sorts of instruments, finally decided to go ahead and buy a cheap 8-track recording unit yesterday. Now I just need to clear out enough room to be able to get to instruments when I want them.

I used to own a 4-track system.....sure wish I still did when we were trying to put together the track for Norwescon.

Yeah, getting to instruments around here is a problem....something about having the music room be a black hole.

... like I have room to talk, I have a pile of boxes in front of my bass right now :(

Well, since it's been Katy's room since her senior year of high school, it's been a bit hard to keep in any order. Since she's not going to be using it any more, we can put the rest of her stuff in storage and theoretically put the room back in order. That's the theory, anyway. I think there's also a yard sale in the future.
