Gomu Gomu no Pistoru!

This past week has been very slow at work. My numbers were absolutely horrible. Maybe because I spent too much time talking to everyone. Oops! Oh well. I'm just glad that my weekend has started. Not that I have any big plans. Sometime soon I'm going to leave Mike's place and go home so I can either a. play FFX2 and maybe beat it (before con ( Read more... )

I'm back!

Where did you go?

3. Take a stab at my middle name: Oh crap. I'm sure I knew this at one point. -_- Um...I'll say, maybe Lynn? Everyone's middle name seems to be Lynn. ^_~

LOL That's amusing. Actually, Lynn is my mom's and middle sister's middle names. :P My middle name is Michelle.

4. How long have you known me? Gosh...probably about three years? I'm not entirely sure. ^^;

Has it been that long already? Wow! That's pretty cool. :)

9. Month of my Birthday? ...I want to say April, but I'm not sure at all. ^^;

April 2nd. I'm going to be 25 in a couple of weeks. Can't believe it! I don't feel 25.

11. Color eyes? No idea. ^^;

Depending on my mood, the weather and what I'm wearing, my eye color can change from any shade of blue to any shade of gray.

13. What's one of my favorite things to do outdoors? I have no idea! ^^;

Walking, swimming, camping, boating.

21. Would you consider me a friend, an acquaintance, or a good friend? A good friend!

Same to you! I'm so lucky to have you as my friend. :)

24. If there were one good nickname for me what would it be? Carrie-chan! ;P Or Carebear. I like that. *LOL*

I've always liked Carebear as well.

I keep disappearing offline for long periods of time, due to the semester being so crazy. ^_^

I'm going to write this down so I don't forget. *LOL* (We'll see if it works, of course...^^;;;)

Actually, I remember you saying that, now, 'cause I remember thinking "Just like my dad!" His eyes are the same...they go from blue to grey and back again, every shade. :)

Walking, swimming, camping, boating.

All thinks I don't like doing *except* swimming. *LOL* I'm bad at walking (and I know that sounds stupid---how can you be bad at *walking*?---but I am; if I walk too far and don't moderate my pace, which I suck at, I tend to pass out), I don't sleep well outdoors so camping is out, and as for boating...I get majorly seasick. *LOL* I suck.

I hope classes are going well though and that you aren't getting too stressed out.

I'm going to write this down so I don't forget.

I write down all birthdays. I can't even remember Linnae's and I've known her since first grade; although, we didn't become best friends until sixth grade.

I'm bad at walking

It does sound rather weird at first but after you explain it this makes sense.

I don't sleep well outdoors so camping is out

I love it! Whether it's in a sleeping bag on the ground, in a tent, or in a cabin; I have no problems. The only time I had a problem was in Australia when we were just in sleeping bags on the ground and during the middle of the night bats decided to fly over our heads. I woke up, wondered what the hell it was, then went back to sleep and didn't realize until morning what had happened once my friends told me. :P

Unfortunately, this isn't the case. :( I'm so stressed out right now it's unbelievable...I've got influenza, and it's the busiest part of the semester, and I had a group project with a couple of total morons who pissed me off so badly that I've been going around for a couple of weeks with a tick in my left eye and a huge chip on my shoulder...grr. It hasn't been fun. :(

Actually I do okay in cabins, and I love sleeping on air mattresses...air mattresses remind me of my waterbed, so if I can have one of them while I'm out camping, everything's cool. ;P

I'm sorry to hear that. :( I hope things will get less stressful soon.

I always hated doing group projects because I always seemed to be the one doing all the work since I wanted to make sure that everything got done right.

I hope things'll get less stressful soon too. ^^ I'm still feeling sick, but I already feel a lot better about my classes...I had a really difficult lab assignment due today and I wasn't sure how to do it (math...guh), but I got some help and managed to get it done and in on time. That's a load off my mind. ;P

That's exactly it! I did all the work in this group project. -_- But even worse than that, they accused me of *not* doing any work and even went to the professor to ask if they could not work with me anymore! But then when I got together with them and showed them all the work I'd done, it turned out I was the only one who'd done it! Neither of them had even *read* the book we were presenting on, and they had the *nerve* to accuse *me* of slacking off!? Grr.

I'm glad! I hope you start feeling better (physically) soon!

math...guh

Agreed. Well, actually, I really enjoyed algebra but everything above that killed me. I'm not sure how I passed precalc/trig. since I bombed the midterm and final (of course, I took that my junior year in HS and that was my last year in Singapore so my grades weren't that great that year). I got really lucky in college. I took calculus over the summer and my teacher was really cool. Even if I got the answer wrong on a problem, he would still give me (and other students of course) credit for the problem if we set it up right; he would only knock off a few points if we got the wrong answer due to a silly little mistake (which, in my case, was almost all the time). LOL Sorry, I'm babbling. I have three hours left a work and not much left to do.

That's horrible! Did you mention this to your teacher?

*pout* I forgot to upload my new icons last night so I can't use them! Soon though...

I was starting to feel better (physically), but yesterday I had a little too much dairy, so I had a horrible night...:/

I got really lucky in college. I took calculus over the summer and my teacher was really cool.

That's kind of like what happened with me and chemistry...I failed grade twelve chemistry the first time I took it, because of a combination of a horrible teacher and my miserable math skills. But then I took it again in the summer with a *great* teacher, and ended up with an 85% average. ;P Just goes to show what a difference a good teacher can make.

That's horrible! Did you mention this to your teacher?

No, I didn't. :/ I admit, I'm too chicken...since it's a women's studies class and everything's about 'sharing', I'm sure the professor would 'share' my concerns with the other two women...and since I already know they're vindictive, I'm afraid of the consequences (to myself) of that.

I'm glad you like the new icons! ;P I had fun making them. ^_^
