I wish i could run away
I know I’m not the only one who has wanted to run away from my life as it is. There is an alular (Sp?) of a new start in a new place where people don’t know you and don’t know what you have done. Or maybe you wish you could move back somewhere. In either case there are several things we should realize. First if we were to run away to a place where no one knows our names and they don’t know what we have done. The eventuality is that the would get to know us and whether we want to admit it or not quite often the problems we want to run away from follow us. They just have different faces with a little different story. If we were to move back to a place where we once lived we would be disappointed. Because we are different, people are different and place is different than what it once was. The solution to this is not easy. In fact it is very hard and painful processes. We must seek God’s face and trust that he knows what we are going through. He knows what he is doing and in the end we will be better for it. I say this from an ongoing personal experience. I know it’s a hard thing to do but I know it’s the right thing to do. “Those who wait upon the Lord will not be ashamed” (cant remember the reference). “He works all things for the good for those who love him”. Just remember those two things. He is faithful and just he will not make you endure something longer than you have to.
