Birthday boys, zoo animals and puppy.
Osker turned 5 today (=[). Makes me sad! I know it's awful, but he LOVES donuts so we got him one for his birthday. Hahahha. We only let him eat a little, so shut up.
Went to the zoo with my friend/co-worker! Haven't been there all year, so I was really happy.
They were building inside the giraffes' area, so they were inside =[ I was super disappointed, because I can never get good pictures of them inside. I liked this one though because it reminded me of Queen =]
I have never in my LIFE seen an animal that was such an attention whore!
He came and sat right in front of me and was staring at me. Then he started licking the glass, spitting on it, and licking it back up. It was so gross but hilarious.
Then he started doing silly stuff like this! And then he kept rolling over.
THEN he started messing with these other monkeys and tried to get them to play.
(I wish that wasn't blurry! The little monkey attacked him. Haha.)
This gorilla was so cute.
She was sitting so close, so I put this pink mirror up to the glass so she could look at it. Then she put her hand up to it.
It was soooo cute.
SO YEAH THAT WAS FUN. I had a lot of fun with Becca though. It was SO NICE to be able to just take a trip with someone and actually be able to listen to music that I like. Whenever I go with my "friends", I am forced to always listen to shitty metal music. Becca and I have a lot musical taste in common, so it was really nice. She even said I'd be a fun person to go on a road trip with =]
My friend texted me the other day saying "What do you want to do for your birthday", someone who lives in Omaha and who I hardly ever see anymore. I didn't know whether to be happy that she asked, or pissed that that's practically the only time she's ever made an effort to hang out with me since she has moved. Like, obligated because it was my birthday. Ugh. I didn't end up hanging out with her.
I don't think any of my IRL friends would have remembered my birthday, with the exception of two or three, if it hadn't been alerted on Myspace and Facebook. 3rd year in a row that Allie has forgotten. What a nice friend.
Anyway, I'm done ranting. ON WITH MORE PICTURESSSSSSSSSS.
My neighbor got a new puppy. His name is Angus. He's SUPER naughty. Well, not really with anyone else, but he gets so rowdy when I'm around. If I sit on the ground, he'll run circles around me, bite my toes, run behind me and bite my butt, etc. He is a brat! He's also a little sweetie though.
