CROM!
I must be the last to know (as always) that a remake of CONAN THE BARBARIAN is beign made.
WHY?
is so hard to not use old movies and make new stories?
At least I hope they make a good movie, because Conan is one of my all-time favorites movies (And I like the fact that Schwarzenegger´s character had no more than 20 lines in all the film (0゜▽゜) ).
But what worries me is the score, music, whatever sound they are going to put in, because the original soundtrack is reaaaally hard to overcome; Basil Poledouris made the best soundtrack eveeerrr!!! (ahem) (I read that even Howard Shore based his "hobbit" score in the "theology/civilization" theme, but I´m not so sure).
what is next? a "Gone with the wind" remake perhaps? ಠ_ಠ
What I haven´t done is read the books, I have them in my hard drive but lately I don´t have time to sit in front of the pc and spend a quiet hour.
