So after the last few days, I'm rather sure I don't have a heart condition. If I did, I think I'd have had issues by now.
Hitting a couch on the interstate has now been replaced as my scariest freeway driving experience. (While funny in retrospect, at the time it was very much OMG! WTF! Couch!)
Did you know semi-truck retreads can sometimes just about explode when they come off? Me neither, until today. I'm not really sure if explode is the right word, but anything that scatters rubber and wire shrapnel across three lanes of traffic is close enough in my book.
Thankfully I was a ways back, and I don't think anyone was hurt, though one car other then the semi did pull off with what I think was damage to the hood, but that was a freaky experience. I never tailgate trucks, but that's one more good reason not to in my opinion. Yikes.
