Mar 09, 2004 18:49

Here's a special music video post, with two videos and some requests. You don't have to rename the Hey Mickey video, but for some reason, prohosting doesn't deal well with avi's, so you have to rename the SES video .avi.

+ If you download, please leave a comment!!!
+ Download: right-click, save target as, and rename as .mp3
+ Removal: usually every other post
+ Requests: only from my playlist, leave a comment with artist, title, and your name, limited to one per entry
+ If you don't follow these simple rules, don't expect me to post any of your requests.

Title: Super Lover (Movin' Pleasure Mix)
Artist: W-inds
Length: 3:16
Language: Japanese
Genre: Pop
Rating: 3/5
Comments: Requested by snailkeeper. Off of their latest Prime of Life album, it's an okay mix. Personally, I like the original better because I think it sounds more energetic during the verses, but the slightly awkward off beat on this version isn't too bad.

Title: Best I Ever Had
Artist: Vertical Horizon
Length: 4:29
Language: English
Genre: Alt/Rock
Rating: 3/5
Comments: Requested by civanfan. This is more of a mellow song by Vertical Horizon. I like some of their other songs better because I'm more for energy and liveliness, but this is touching at times.

Title: Exodus
Artist: Evanescence
Length: 3:05
Language: English
Genre: Alt/Rock
Rating: 3/5
Comments: Requested by willowwand. I'm all for female lead vocals in rock bands, like in The Sounds, but something about Amy Lee's voice just annoys me. It's not bad at all, it's just... irksome. Anyway, this song's slow, rather dark, dreery, and mainly just features a piano and her vocals.

Title: Super Mario Bros Original Theme
Artist: Nintendo
Length: 3:38
Language: N/A
Genre: BGM
Rating: 4/5
Comments: Requested by Leo. I'm not sure if this is what you were expecting, but this is the only Mario theme song I have. If my memory serves me correctly, this is just a compilation of classic Mario background music from the original Super Nintendo game. I guess I still hear this on the game boys and the N64 Super Mario... but not quite the same.

Title: Mickey
Artist: Toni Basil
Length: 3:21
Language: English
Genre: Pop
Rating: 4/5
Comments: Well, this is definitely a very old music video, so sorry for the bad quality. I went and downloaded it, and it is quite hilarious. Though in a way, it's slightly scary as well. Cheerleaders with too much makeup, sheesh. But to be truthful, they're not that bad as cheerleaders. The song is still wonderfully catchy, as well. The mp3 if you want it is on the last post.

Title: Soul II Soul
Artist: S.E.S.
Length: 4:04
Language: Korean
Genre: R&B/Pop
Rating: 4/5
Comments: Though S.E.S. has long been split up, this music video is still one of my favorites. It's mainly because I love the song and I don't have the mp3, but the video's great as well. Theres some nice dance moves, an interesting overall theme, and the beat's crazy addicting. Oh yes, and this video's quality is much much better than the last one's. Remember to rename the file, .avi!
