some raves i would like to share!
recently, maybe about 1 month plus ago, i started using my
Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream (Rinse off Formula), and i was pleasantly surprised. It is oh-so-gentle, and can definitely be used everyday. And most importantly, it really cleanses the skin and removes blackheads. (Previously, I was using the Clinique Exfoliating Scrub just about once a week, and the results weren't obvious.) Yup. Now, i used this almost every day, like about once a day (i have sensitive skin, and too much scrubbing can cause irritations). I love it.
Actually, it was recommended to me by Eugene and Charis (Yiling) while we were back in USA. So, credits to them yah.
and i also started using the
Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer regularly. It works as a brightener (not whitener), and leaves my skin really smooth. I use it before my moisturizer, which is what the consultant recommended. However, the website recommends it to be used after the moisturizer. I guess, it makes little difference. Hand in hand with this, I have the
Clinique Turnaround Instant Facial. It works in 5 mins (a 5-min facial, you can say), and it provides a form of deep exfoliation, leaving the skin like baby's skin! J loves this, but i use it very very rarely, because i find it a hassle to do this kind of leave-on-and-wash-off stuff. But since CNY is approaching, I might start using it once a week. These 2 Turnaround products are really good, no joke. Try them!
and my newest add-on to my cupboard full of skincare products is the
ettusais lip essence (stick). I have been using the gloss version of this, and this stick version is a new edition they just came out with. Wonderful thing which really is the thing you need to have for your lips! If you like glossier version, choose the gloss one. It has 25% more essence anyway. but if you want a less sticky feel (think hair flying and sticking to your lips!), choose the stick version. A real good buy. See, I am not so much of a Clinique addict afterall. HA. I used to have lots of ettusais k, because their products are so girly pretty! But too bad, some things are not suitable for my skin, and hence the swap to clinique, which is allergy and fragrance free.
By the way, I use Estee Lauder too. Their eyeshadow, and a scrub thing. Next time.
