Potholes, ... or Plotholes?

May 11, 2005 04:03

whoa, okay, so not having college internet really really blows. A lot. Well now that we have that out of the way, i'd just like to say that it's like bleeding 4 in the morining and consequently my brain is melting and pouring out the sides of my head. Awww right!

Right well, where was I.

It's been an interesting couple of days to say the least. I must apologize for my absence, i know all of my imaginary fans have been just wringing their hands in angst, but angst no more my hallucinatory amigos! For I have returned, and in all of my dementia coloured glory! Right well, let's see. Hmm, okay for one my parents just recently found out about the whole chemistry debacle and so they took their turn at freaking out (which was great for my peace of mind let me tell ya .... i love you mom -*crowd "ahhhhs"* ) and now were kinda just playing the waiting game. In an interesting bit of enlightenment, I looked into it a bit more, and it seems that even if I get an F in chm, as long as they don't kick me out for "cheating" i'll be here next semester hooray! though I have no idea how I could possibly get an F other than the cheating thing, but whatever. So the important thing is, my tenure at Purdue has yet to end. However, this means that potentially I'll be taking summer school, or an extra semester, or something, which kinda sux. Hence the road goes on but with ... pot holes, get it? get it? Yeah, i know it was obvious, and I'm a retard, these things can't be helped. Okay, so anyway, on to the past couple of days. I think that deserves a new paragraph don't you?

Hmmm, I guess it doesn't matter what you think, does it? Bwhahahahahaha!!!!

So anyway.

I took my last final (the one that didn't happen) and improved from my last test, but I'm still going to end up with a less than satisfactory grade, unless I did way above average on the test which i doubt. Them's the breaks. So that was thursday. Then came Thursday night. So, mostly I was just chilling, and to be honest I don't remember terribly what I was doing but I know that at some point my roomate Brandon and I asked where all the peoples had gone. You of course may wonder whom we asked, if indeed the peoples were gone. Well, we asked some people, but they naturally weren't the peoples in question. Trust me it all works out. Anyway, we find out that an AJ , RJ, Joe, and Kat are prbly chilling in Joe's room. So we decide to go see what's up and possibly join. Now, at this point I should remark that Athurva (the person not peoples guy) did say they might be imbibing celebratory beverages. So we get to Joe's room and it's obviously locked. So I knock and tell them that it's the police, and that I've come for their soul. Yes, I know, I should have said "souls" rather than go the collective "soul" route, after all one of them could have been Japanese and that would have thrown everything off (note: that was a Southpark reference, i don't hate or discriminate against any people group... except the dutch, freaking dutch, i refuse to capitalize the "D" in dutch. wait ... i'm dutch, agh!!). But at anyrate, I was trumped when Joe remarked that my attempt was futile as he had no soul. Joe is Italian, not Japanese. I'll just leave that at that. So at anyrate, they let us in, and we find that they're basically just starting to watch the movie "The Core" , a decently entertaining flick if I may say so myself. Finding this last night of hang-outage worthy I decide to stay, as does Brandon. John comes in a little later and joins the fun. So we're watching "The Core" and some are partaking of the spirits at hand. All but myself and John actually, though at AJ's behest I did smell his cherry coke+ and it did indead sort of smell like a vanilla cherry coke and AJ insisted that it tasted like one as well. He seemed to be well pleased, so while I didn't actually drink anything in that room and so can't personally say how things tasted, I think the mood was enough to warrant coca-cola needing to actually make vanilla cherry coke. Moving along, we finished watching the movie, while natually analyzing it for accuracy and I found myself several times having to explain to either Joe or Brandon how things could have possibly gone as they did. [makes waving hand motion] There are no plot holes. So that was done, and we pretty much dispersed after that. Who's to say, maybe we actually did something, maybe not. I don't remember and I wasn't even drinking, there's some irony for you. Good gosh, i'm already so far gone, if I did drink I'd prbly ingest the world and everything in it. Meh. What I'm getting at here, is that later that night, I did indeed achieve the goal that I so long ago set for myself, in a fool hardy moment of youthful enthusiasm, not then fully aware of the meaning behind my boast. Yes dear friends, after the movie that night, i took a shower. And not just any shower mind you. You see, for those unfamiliar with myself and/or the goal, I like to take long showers. Showers that I can well nigh guarantee are longer than one's you've ever taken. Ever. Or would ever like to take. Ever. You see at home, I like to take like 30min to an hour showers. But the heat always runs out. So usually I'm stuck with like , just 30-40min. Tragic I know. Well, I get to Purdue and take my first shower. I then discover to my paramount delight and mystification that the ... heat ... never ... runs ... out. WOW! You can imagine my excitement at the prospect of being able to finally take a shower for as long as I'd jolly well please. I'm finally free to have my own little mini-sauna, free to soak and bask in warm water, free to just get away from the world and day dream while warm mist flits about me. So yeah, i was pretty stoked. Anyway, it was upon this realization that I made the foolish claim, that since I could take as long of a shower as I wanted, I would take a 5 hour shower before the year was over. Well, that Thursday night, I finally did it. From the hours of 1:05am to 6:26am I was showering. With the aid of Raleys watch, I kept time, and let me tell you, 5 hours is a long freaking time, even for me! But oh was it glorious. And that was Thursday.

So then on friday my Dad comes up so we can pack and leave. So he's there, and were like, sorta packing. He kept on task way better than I did, but hey, I was saying goodbye at the same time. Well anyway, I introduced him to all you crazy people, the ones that were still around anyway ATHERVA , and that was cool. So then after packing up, and saying goodbye one last time, we left.

To indianapolis!!! Yeah, so I live in MN, but we went to visit my grandparents first before leaving. So we went and slept, as it was now night time, and got up the next afternoon. Yes afternoon. So, they take us out to eat, and we just hang out, and it was cool. My grandparents are pretty awesome people. And we also visit Hoo Hoo my grandma on my moms side (that isn't her name - which is like Sue, sorta, but it means mother of my mother and is pronounced "who who") to give her a mother's day gift. Well she was of course surprised, and she's really awesome too, so that was cool. Well the next day was Sunday and we were heading back home, so we all woke up and went to Bob Evans for breakfast, which was really good by the way (i had the steak and eggs) and then we were off. Now, I should add, that the previous night I pulled an all nighter, mostly because I was bored and couldn't sleep cause the room was all hot. So when my dad asks me to drive I'm like, *sigh , okay. So I then drive for 3 hours on no sleep, and the scary part is that I was driving well, and better than a lot of other drivers. Honestly people! Learn to drive! I mean, when you go without sleep for long enough the physical effects are like being drunk, and still they were worse than me. Though I really was fine, or my dad who was right next to me, and more than a little watchful still, would have noticed. So we get home, hooray. And I unpack all my stuff, which is to say that I put it all in a pile in the house. The very same pile I have to clean up today. w00t . After getting home though, there really isn't much to report. Things like, just stop happening. So, it's a ton harder to eat, since there isn't this magical buffet lying around, and I'm completely disconnected from the world with one phone line and a 56k modem, well practically disconnected, and I don't start work at Wal-Mart again until monday. Blah, oh well.

It is now time for the shout out to all my happy friend folks. Hooray!!!
So, yeah hello friend persons, like Tyler, Tyler, Vik, PJ, Tom, Brandon, AG, AJ, Kyle, Nikhil, Mike, David, Joe, Kat, RJ and everyone else that I'm too baked to remember. Oh, and I was just doing hall people (Kat and Joe to be considered one person). But of course I miss all you guys regardless of what group your in, 1 2 or 3. It kinda really sucks to be away, but oh well, if I were there school would suck too, lol. Awesome Randy, simply awesome. Both things that is. as for the latter, I hope she's as cool and gorgeous on the inside as her green jacket is on the outside. If so, you should have no problem. Unless you guys just don't have chemistry, ... CHEMISTRY!!!!!!!!!! AGHHHHH!!! . lol. I kid.

uhm, that feels suitably long so, signing off
