So, I basically haven't posted in a really really really long time. Though I've also noticed, this is ok, largely as it seems the majority of posters lately have been of the female sort. At anyrate, whatever magical combination of factors are involved in my posting have managed to coalesce tonight, brief though it may be. Hooray! So, among other things, I posted recently on Roselire's journal, and it occurred to me as I wrote that "I miss you" that I do in fact miss all of you lovely people. More than you're ever likely to know. So I thought you ought at least know a bit of it. There you have it. Lol, truly though, I do miss you, my friends, quite considerably. However it came about, you influenced me considerably during our time together, and I'm quite thankful for the improvements in my character and the intense heightening of my quality of life lent by your presence. In short, I would like to thank you, my friends, and note that if I ever decide to write a book (as unlikely an affair if ever there was one) you shall undoubtedly be included as the "awesome people".
Beyond that, there has been a fair modicum of events that have seen fit to transpire. I've had a birthday, turned 21, celebrated one and a half years of adventurous relationship with Holly, gone from academic probation to the deans list, witnessed the continued radical changes in both wardrobe (nice clothes) and diet (I eat salad now), rung in a new year, seen the colts win a superbowl, and played shamefully too few videogames.
I also recently saw both "The Illusionist" and "Pride and Prejudice" - the recent one with Keira Knightly. I actually enjoyed them both, and much to my substantial surprise I really loved "Pride and Prejudice". It was just a very clever movie, and British which only helped matters.
Perhaps I shall later write more of the travails of trying to form a new social group in a new environment.
Until then, ever striving to uphold my Subject/Title,
Scott
