Oh noez, it's the INS!
So this will be a lark for some of you guys. My mom just called me today to inform me that my green card is expiring and that I need to replace it by December. She wants me to come up asap but she also wants me to come up during the weekdays so that I can go to the embassy to change it.
This poses a few problems which I shall list off in a numbered sequence of no discernable order:
1. I have no ride up to NoVA
2. I think I have something important to do during the weekdays...what was it again?
3. There's no way I could go during the weekends, seeing as how I have work.
4. There's no way to get back down to Tech assuming I somehow manage to circumvent issue 3 and stay there for the weekday.
Then again, this is pretty trivial in comparison the the possibility of being DEPORTED.
And on the plus side, I do have until December to get there. I think there's a break/winter break starts sometime before then?
