Krung Thep Adventure
so far it's just 2 days of classes, and 3 days at the guest house on soi ngam dupli (opposite lumpini park). that place is full of japanese people and consistently has broken wireless.. argh. they need to fix it or i need to find a different place, or i need to find some way to get it.
i think i want to settle the internet before i start calling people to find work etc.
today i went to the apartment of this guy in class. it's in lad prao. he's showing me to see if i want to live there too. it's so far away from the mrt u got to take a motorcycle taxi to it. (kinda fun, the first time i've sat on one of these things) the place is kinda nice though. but at 6400/mth is still a bit ex. (i think utilities will add another 1000 to it) plus all the money i'm going to spend on the motorcycle rides..
there was this other place nearby at 3500/mth. really cheap. but no space. oh well. at least where i'm staying is more convenient. i just need some way to get internet!
in other news there's NO wi-fi free in any cafe/restaurant along Silom. i walked around the whole afternoon going into places that has this wi-fi stickers. and nope. none. (internet cafe now) There's only Coffee World that has free wireless internet on the whole of Silom! haha. and their mocha that i'm sipping now is pretty good too. i totally heart them. :)
