Great New Year's Eve

Jan 01, 2013 11:04

This was a really good day. At first, I thought we weren't going to have Aikido class in the evening. One student recommended that, since it was New Year's Eve and people have the day off, we should have class at 10:30 am. Well, that's fine and dandy if you are in the upper echelons of a company, but we peons still work. That would have meant no class for me.

However, we ended up having two classes. One in the morning, and one in the evening, with a little earlier start (530 pm). It was a great class. I really feel like I'm starting to get the hang of taking the centerline.

Afterward, I went to see ChulhuLord and his SO. It was a nice quiet evening with the three of us. Yakity, yakity, yak. Lots to talk about. Then Cthulhu dice. A fun and simple game.

I'm beginning to think I need to take more pics for the blog. I just never remember to do it. Maybe when I get my new phone up and running.

holidays, fun, relationships, aikido
