Strange Developments and Upcoming DVD Projects
Life has been exceptionally full of ups and downs recently.
It turns out that my place of employment has to move out of Illinois because of the new affiliate marketing tax the governor signed would shred the business if it didn't. Fortunately, we're only 5 minutes from the Wisconsin border, so hopefully we don't have to move far.
I took almost two weeks off from work...only to get sick right up until the end. This obviously mostly ruined what should have been a good time. And worse than that, it really cut into my writing time.
"Writing time?" you ask. Yes, "writing time," and I'm glad you asked. I'm currently working on writing a book/DVD series. (I don't want to say too much about the content at the moment.) I was planning on finishing the first draft during my vacation, but sickness overrode that. Also, my friend who was going to film it had his camera knocked over. It's in the shop as I type. So, the project has had a number of setbacks. On the bright side, though, I find myself breaking new personal ground here. I'm enjoying the process and feel like I'm growing.
Of course, the problem with going back to work after a vacation is that I find myself exhausted at the end of the day. Time for a drink or two.
