Today I read an article about this movie |D Here it is lifted wholesale from Tokyograph:
D2, the "brother unit" of acting troupe D-BOYS, will star in a film called "Pole Dancing Boys," directed by Shusuke Kaneko ("Death Note," "Azumi 2"). This will be the group's first time playing the leads in a movie.
The members of D2 will show off their athletic and acrobatic skills in this story, reminiscent of movies like "Water Boys" where a group of young men throw themselves into a sport that is typically associated with women. Although pole dancing is commonly associated with stripping in places such as the United States, the activity has gained recognition as a form of art and even exercise.
The actors of D2 trained under the guidance of Reiko Suemune, who won the first Miss Pole Dance World championship in 2005.
The story of "Pole Dancing Boys" revolves around two aspiring comedians named Atsushi and Shintaro, who get swindled out of the 100,000 yen that they built up to pay for a performance. After meeting some other young men in similar situations, various circumstances lead them to put on an all-male pole dancing show.
The main cast includes Atsushi Arai, Shintaro Akutsu, Toru Kamitsuru, Kenki Yamaguchi, Yoichiro Omi, Ryo Mitsuya, Yukito Nishii, Ryosuke Ikeoka, Takuya Negishi, and Sho Jinnai. Of them, Nishii recently earned attention for his role as one of the two male students at the center of the award-winning film "Kokuhaku."
"Pole Dancing Boys" is scheduled to open this May.

So apparently Arai-kun and Shin are the main charas. Good for you, Shin! A starring role in a movie about... well. it's a job |DDDD Do your best, kiddo |D (I totally thought those two were just going to be comic relief but as we have already ascertained I know nothing about this movie)
WHAT IS THIS MOVIE EVEN ABOUT.
(I feel like this is going to be either a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE MOVIE and I will only like it because it is full of my boys and is ridiculous, or it'll actually be really successful and good and will spawn Pole Dancing Boy☆s 2, in which all the new kids get to take part as well |D or a tv drama. oh man i would watch that forever |DDDDDD)
