Yanagishita Tomo, eternal boykisser
Yesterday I watched all of the 2010 Natsu Doko! It was great! Hilarious! Wonderful! Amazing! The first show was better, I thought, but the soccer one was great too even if it provided unnecessary context to the gif of Shunji smacking Yamada Yuusuke down |D My boys even appeared a bit, in the backstage of the first one and actually in the show (they cut to a shot of them in the audience) the second time around :D It made me so happy! But the second time they cut to them, Mitsu and Shin were gone |D Where did they go~
ANYWAY this entry is not about D2! It is about regular D-Boys which I have fallen in love with a bit after watching them for five and a half hours |DDDD More specifically, it is about:
TOMO!!! Out of D-Boys, Seto, Tomo, Taito, and Yamada Yuusuke are my favorites, I think! Mostly I watch things that have Seto in them, but in the Tomo things I've seen, I've noticed something of a pattern.....
Let's start with the show I watched last night. It was called Renai Shindan: Tsubasa no Kakera. In it, Tomo is a loser shyboy called Tsubasa that gets picked on and beat up and stuff. He meets Shiozaki Ire who is a badass kinda psycho guy that turns out to be inexplicably in love with him. Then he meets Juri who is really cute and sweet and teaches him how to make pottery and in the process sticks his clay-y fingers all over him and smooches the back of his neck lots and Tomo is totally okay with it. Then he goes to the ocean where Ire grabs him and totally fake!kisses him and he is not really okay with that but he can DEAL WITH IT. He also almost makes out with Juri in a dressing room and then catches the other two sleeping together and has flashbacks to his weird creepy relationship with his stepdad and there is drama! but in the end he sorta ends up with Ire. It ends mostly the same way Boys Love 2 did, if you've seen that (my condolences if you have, that movie was AWFUL), only BETTER. Maybe I only think that because I watched it unsubbed and therefore didn't pick up as much stupid stuff ;D?
How about that Harukaze then, huh? Being the first movie of Takumi-kun Series, it deals with super shyboy, constantly bullied and ultimate loser Takumi, who has some kind of human contact syndrome where he freaks out if people touch him as a result of his creepy aniki molesting him when he was a kiddo. (does any of this sound familiar at all) A couple of dudes fall in love with him, and although he resists at first, he eventually ends up shaking off his syndrome and fake!kissing one of them after he challenges the other one for his love, and then they cuddle and do some only slightly less-fake kissing in bed. This is my least favorite Takumovie for a variety of reasons, but there are lots of good moments and I love the way Tomo flinches awkwardly whenever anybody bumps him XDDDDDD Mao, you should get a chance to do that too! not counting that bit in Detail because it wasn't good enough for me
(Randomly, they should remake Harukaze but with Pure cast. I wanna see Mitsu FREAK THE FUCK OUT and try to stab Mao and then get taken away by Yutaka and later eat a delicious parfait with him)
The third and final thing I have seen Tomo in that is not Tenimyu is Tumbling! This one is not the same as the other two! Tomo plays a nice rhythmic gymnastic boy named Mizusawa who is pretty good at doing it and is like, the sweetest and most supportive person ever and just kinda stays happily in the background being cute until his number's up and he gets a focus episode.
And then it turns out that all along he has been in love with this other dude Kiyama who just joined the team like yesterday and is totally awkward and boy-crushing and passive-aggressive mean whenever he is around him. Everyone doesn't get it and is like WHUT until rival gymnast Snerky McDouchebag overhears him angsting about it. And then tells everybody else forever. And makes Tomo cryyyyyyy which is like the saddest thing ever and also makes me cry. In the end he doesn't get the boy, but he is accepted as a boylover and there is sorta a bit in the very end that gives some fangirls hope that the two of them might get together after all.
The conclusion that I have drawn from all this is "Tomo looks like he's into dudes." What do you think? (Check some pics out if you don't know what he looks like and report back |D)

Tomo, next time you get cast in a part like this, please kiss boys for reals. I'm talking DaiMao style intensity. If you do this, my life will be made, I think |DDDDDD
