Well, short of a $450 miracle happening today, my aunt wants me to start packing up my stuff.
I've been without a job for a couple of months now, and my car went to hell last month. I've been trying to get together the money I need to not only pay her, but pay to have the car legalized (its plates expire this month, isn't insured, and is still in my late mother's name), repaired (damn thing doesn't crank now, and was severely overheating before) and pay to take the state licensing exam, which would have likely rendered me employed this month.
Instead, at the beginning of the month, when my aunt demanded some sort of money, I gave her all I had, minus $50. That means she got my exam money. She got my car repair money. She got everything, and I was still short on my share of the bills.
I've been selling my blood plasma for the last week or so, now that I know how that works, just to have a little cash in my pocket to catch a city bus around town, looking for work.
She wants me out, but I'm not sure how soon. All she keeps doing is insinuating that I need to have her money by the end of the day, or I'm out.
Frankly, I'm tired of it.
I didn't want to move in the first place, when mom got us into this house. I was barely making bills back in the old house, while paying for vehicle upkeep, and trying to get some of my bills cleared up.
I went through my old pay stubs earlier today, and had to laugh.
For 25 hours, I brought home $150.85.
For 27.5 hours, I brought home $150.75.
This is the way that the United States Government allows corporations to truly fuck people back when they owe money and aren't paying them for whatever reason (Like, barely being able to make ends meet without coughing up cash to these companies, as is, for example).
The result was, I was bringing home ~$5.14 an hour, which at 40 hours, comes out to just barely over $200. I wasn't getting 40 hours at work, and they guaranteed that.
All I want right now, is a place to stay, and some help to get back on my feet. I intend to take that state exam before my form allowing me to do it expires, so that I can finally get that insurance job, and put all this drama, this poverty, and this debt behind me with stamps of PAID cascading around me on receipts.
If you know anyone in the state of Florida willing to help me do this, put them in contact with me somehow.
If you know someone within the united states that is willing to help me out with a place to stay until I can get back on my feet, have them call me. 813-785-9551.
I'm willing to consider moving, at least temporarily, to another state, if it means I can get back on my feet that much faster.
I just hope you're near public transportation, so I can go to and from work, without having to constantly bother you for a ride. :)
