Minor advertising and shit just got real

Before anything, I'd like to invite anyone interested to join inkscratch. At first it was childofnazgul's idea; a place where we could write whatever, and leave constructive criticism to each other (since fandom in general is reluctant to do so).

Since she's always busy, I've opened the community myself, and I'm inviting friends only to join (being on my f-list does not ( Read more... )

Oh okay! /will join after typing this. :)

I can't stand them. I hate the US sometimes, despite being American technically (not something I readily admit to, usually). Especially since their recent election was very much on the conservative side... and fuck, and I don't want to think about what that will mean for this war. I don't know how much the US can do right now because they don't have the money with Afghanistan acting as such a drain to their military resources, but then again their defence budget it twice that of anyone else's (USA if you could just use that money for something productive. :|).

I'm not familiar enough with China's political stance at the moment to be sure that they would join with NK, unless it becomes a fucked up land war between the US and China, which I suppose is possible. So far, however, I don't think there have been any indicators of China's involvement. And I'm worried about Japan too, because even though I'm not a fan of military in general, they don't have one to defend themselves if it becomes necessary.

/rambles. I need to do research on this whole situation because being uninformed is bothering me a lot.

Accepted you already :)

I only mention China, because they've showed in the last World Cup that they consider N. Korea as their friends. Then there is the whole Communism issue that both countries are still under. I think China would not let N. Korea fight alone in a war, specially if other western countries decide to go against them.

Hopefully things will not escalate to a World War. Because a nuclear war would totally destroy the whole world...

Yay :)

Ahh, okay, I didn't watch the World Cup so I missed that. (I'm not really into any sports, haha, so I never watch any. ;;;) I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out. :( The US vs. China won't go well, if that's what ends up happening. I need to look up what happened for a peace agreement at the end of the last war.

I'm hoping so too. :( Nuclear war scares me a lot. The existence of nuclear weapons is just so unnecessary. (I get that if one person has them, everyone wants them, but a better solution would to just get rid of them entirely. :/)
