just stay there, you stay there
i haven't done this in a long while. or ever, really, so bear with me. i'm just gonna say some things, get some things off my chest, because, as you all know, kpop fandom in general is one complicated mess right now.
mostly, i don't understand some people. i really, really don't. everyone i know on lj, everyone that will end up reading this, is probably a kpop fan to one extent or another. and it doesn't matter who you're a fan of, whether you love dbsk or 2PM or SHINee or .. anyone else. it's the same thing, because the one thing i've always really loved about this fandom is how devoted the fans are. because in this fandom, we care. we love our idols, we put as much effort into supporting them as they do in performing for us. we come together, even if we don't all agree at times. we talk, we support, and even though i'm not as involved as i used to be i still love being able to have lolz over a music video, or to comment on something and have conversations with other people who get it.
and of course, even though i love kpop music, that doesn't mean i love every band. there are several that i don't listen to simply because i don't enjoy their music. but this is where i start to get frustrated.
if you don't like a band, why is bashing necessary? why are negative comments necessary? there's no reason to do any of that bullshit. if you don't like a band, okay. you don't have to listen to them. but saying bad things about them where fans can see, then get angry when you're called out for it? everyone's entitled to their own opinion, sure, but seriously?
another point ... if you make the decision to remove yourself from the fandom, if you decide you don't want to be a part anymore, keep your negative comments to yourself. if you have nothing good to say, nobody wants to hear your bitching, either. if you're done with fandom, then you're done. hands down. the bands do nothing wrong. they make music, and hating on them because they're popular is incredibly unfair to both them and their fans, because there's simply no reason for any of it.
IN OTHER NEWS. SHINee's album is the shit. jojo is an amazing song and key's rap in get down definitely brings the lolz. that's all i've got for now. yo, man. rock out. peace~
