Characters: Ella, open Location: The library Time: Saturday morning. Yeah. Saturday. Content: Ella is studying okay. Format: I prefer third but either works for me. Warnings: None?
Matthew had been relishing the solitude and quiet one can only get in a library in his corner with his own little book, but he noticed a girl with a French grammar book. On a Saturday. He blinked.
"...Do you need any help?" He got up and wandered over, before he recalled his power was being weird again and decided to warn her, "My power's gone all weird, so I null powers in a bout a three meter radius right now. In case that affects the offer of help." He stayed just on the edge of that zone.
Ella looked up, but before she could answer his question, he went on to warn her about his power.
She blinked. "You-- uh, no, it doesn't matter to me." Three meters? That was what, nine or ten feet? Something clicked in her mind, and she grinned at him. "Actually, I'd love some help!"
Matthew grinned when she said yes and leaned down to peer at her book, "Sorry if I'm bothering you, I just speak French is all." He gave the book a vague look of dismay, "Grammar is no one's favorite part though. All those tenses."
"I don't mind, it's not like I can learn it all by myself," she replied, shrugging. "I don't really mind learning the grammar part. I mean, without grammar you can't have a language, right?"
He nulled powers. And right now he was standing right by her. If Ella were any other girl, one whose circumstances were a little different, her sped-up heartbeat would mean something completely different; but she was merely eager to see if what he did would also work on her. It wasn't a power. So maybe it wouldn't. It would be simple to test, but she didn't want to bring it up, not to a complete stranger. After all, maybe he was honing his powers for evil, or something. Who knew?
Kyouya wasn't expecting to find anyone in the library on a Saturday. He was just trying to find a place where he could catch up on what he missed in various classes, without being in his room all day.
Imagine his surprise when he noticed a girl sitting in the corner, granted she wasn't that impressive, however he knew to make connections. Especially with the upcoming formation of a new host club. He put on his best prize winning smile and walked with purpose over the the girl.
"Hello Miss. Do you mind if I sit here?" He motioned to the seat across from her.

She turned, then sighed when she saw it was Doug. "Oh, hi."
