Characters: Lelouch, anyone
Setting: Cafeteria, during what should be class time.
Summary: Anyone for a chess match?

Sometimes he just didn't feel like going to class and took up much more interesting diversions to take up the time. Such as reading, catching up on the goings on around the world, and sorting through chess problems. The last is what he was currently doing. In front of him on the table was a chessboard with not all of the pieces present, and he was playing both sides, sorting out the problem presented by the open book in front of him. Also on the table were a couple of other books, stacked neatly with his sunglasses on top, on the Vietnam conflict, and the other on South African apartheid. Evidence of heavy annotating was clear, with sticky notes obvious between pages.

Thus far, his stay at this school had been going smoothly. It was an experiment ground rife with opportunities to test the full limits of his power, both in and outside of formal instruction times. Thus far, he has determined that the order could be anything, even repetitive. He had yet to be able to determine whether he could even make someone kill another or even themselves, because this was certainly not the place for unnecessary bloodshed. But, he could only issue the command once for an individual. He would have to keep track of certain individuals to determine if there was a time limit to its effect.

But in the meantime, there were chess problems to be sorted, and a history class to be ignored.
