Matthew jumped a little, startled at the sudden noise. Oh. Oh he knew this wasn't going to go well. At all. He took a quick glance at what once must have been a pristine white jacket. The green and brown smudges on the bottom were clear as crystal against that white. He tucked it up in his arms, hiding the stain as best as he could and opened the door.
"Here." He held it out quickly, hoping he wouldn't think to look at it hard.
Grimmjow snatched the jacket away from him. He wasn't going to thank him for it. He unfurled it to make sure the bastard hadn't damaged it in anyway. The stain on the bottom stood right out and Grimmjow looked away from the jacket and to Matt.
Matthew shrank back right away, his head ducking like that would protect him. He addressed the floor, certain that this was not going to end well.
"I-I didn't...Al took all my things out onto the lawn and your jacket was with it and--and it got dirty. I couldn't help it!" He looked up a little, assessing the situation. Not good. At all.
Grimmjow grabbed him by his shirt. "This is your fuckin' brother's fault?!" He shouldn't be surprised. His brother seemed like the sort of asshole that would do something like this to get back at him.
