Content: Ino has arrived, and now she's looking for some peeps. You know you want to say hey.
"Parents," Ino muttered to herself, trudging back through the gates of the Institute. Seriously, did they really have to cause such a scene? As much as she loved her dad, the whole crying thing had been a bit much. It wasn't like she was losing touch with them forever; he had, after all, made her promise to call them every single day, something which would have been impossible to do had he not bribed her with a brand new phone.
They had finally left only a few moments before--after carrying all of her luggage up to her room, of course--and Ino was left alone on the strange, unfamiliar campus. It wasn't like she was worried about anything, but it was just... strange to suddenly be the new girl. She had always been the queen bee, the one surrounded by a dozen friends at all times. Being alone was definitely something new.
But although it wasn't what she was used to, she knew that she would just have to get used to it. After all, being the new girl on campus wouldn't last forever; she would find some friends, like she always did, and then she would climb her way up the social ladder until she was back where she had been at home. It wouldn't be hard at all. All she had to do was find someone to actually talk to....
