Hakkai sat watching the storm, hearing the rain hid against the window. Though that's not what he saw and heard...no, in his mind the rain was blood splattering against a dingy white wall, the thunder were the screams of the dying. Days like this always made it hard for him to function, he made sure Charles knew he would be useless on these days. For some reason though the man had seemed to think that being here would help on days like this. How wrong he was, it made it worse. He had to come all the way up to the atrium to escape the loud noises of the children in the mansion. They're screaming only added to what his mind insisted he see.
