Are you here to look at the fish of the great deep ocean too?

That's a lake, though it does have some lovely fish in it...

A lake? [looks back at it thoughtfully] Papa said I could see the ocean from here! Oh! Is it a rectangle with colorful lines floating on the water?

[He saw one of those near the basketball court! Some students swam back and forth, back and forth... Though, his father is very large. The actual Atlantic Ocean would seem much closer to the school than it actually is...]

... Are the fish invisible there? I don't think I saw any.

They don't come near the shore very often. Fresh water fish are commonly found in deeper depths of lakes.
