[Reki stands in a wide, green field with a cool breeze blowing across them. In the distance there are mountains and gigantic colorful kites that stand out against a perfect blue sky. He has his usual book open with the holo-screens surrounding him, but he's not dressed in his normal clothes. Reki is in his red Wavemaster robes... his avatar's outfit.]

Hmm... should the stage go here or here?

[Paprika appears as if logging in, dressed as a Harvest Cleric because timeline, what timeline? She takes a second to look herself over, then decides this outfit is adorable and walks over toward Reki.]

[Unfortunately, Paprika has no idea what a Grunty is. Fortunately, just because you said that, several have decided to show up early, microphones in hand!]

Oh! [claps her hands softly] Are those the contestants?

[Reki turns to see a Rocker Grunty walk past him.]

Wait! Wait! There isn't even a stage! Why does this always happen?

They're cute~! [she bends down and pats the Rocker Grunty on the head as it passes.]

[Reki's gone chasing after the Grunties!]

The contest isn't now! Go back to your owners!!

Argh! This is all his fault! [waving his arms with his book in one hand] Get back to the Chaos Gate!

[Meanwhile, Paprika remains there with the Rocker Grunty, watching Reki go with a bemused look on her face. Eventually, she turns and whispers to the Grunty.]

You'd better get going, too. Or else he might smack you one.

[The Grunty grudgingly agrees and starts moseying back over to the Chaos Gate. A few of the others follow it, but for the most part rounding them up looks like herding cats.]

[... So of course Paprika just follows Reki and watches.] "His"? What'd he do?

He'd be just the type to pull something like this. [groans] Let me finish the code--

[Oh dear, it seems a group of Grunties have gotten quite tired of being chased and turn around to face the red Wavemaster. They are a bit bull like in appearance...]

WAH! [And now Reki's the one being chased to the Chaos Gate.]

[Paprika giggles and watches them go at it for a little while, then decides to be nice and help out. She positions herself in their path and claps her hands twice.] Everyone~! Stop for a minute, please!

[The Grunties skid to a stop, and she smiles brightly.] This area is under construction, but just through that gate - [indicates the Chaos Gate a la Vanna White] - there's a pancake breakfast for you while you wait! Please pardon the inconvenience. [bows]

[The Grunties love their food and stampedes to the Chaos Gate for that pancake breakfast. Lucky day~]

Oi... [Reki falls to the ground, exhausted, then mutters] I want to quit...

[However he pushes himself up soon after and dusts himself off.] Er. Thank you for that. They seem to like you much more.

[Paprika gives him a "t'weren't nothing" kind of smile.] Hmm~ either that, or they're really good pancakes.

[Without further ado, she comes over to see what he's up to. Stage-making, right?]

[A large rectangular wireframe block appears with two ramp triangles to either side of it. It's the basics for a stage. Then a large area in front of the would-be-stage is marked for chairs.]

[He looks over to the Harvest Cleric.] This is supposed to be a really big event. These types of shows are popular lately.
