I Know You've Suffered

Fred had been there 186 days, or six months and four days. She'd managed to do a lot. Working with the Albert Einstein. Wow. It'd be like working with Feigenbaum, who she named a teddybear after. Well after working with Einstein, Fred would probably name one after him, too. She'd done a lot, too. Well, a lot for a seventeen year old girl. Luckily no one ever really asked questions. She was in college and doing what she loved.
It was a long day, but Fred was still in the physics lab at the college. She had her glasses on and she was going over some more calculations. She promised her class she'd get them in before the next morning. Muttering aloud about algorithms and temporal space distortion, she scribbled more numbers down on a piece of paper.
It seemed like it was going to be a long night as well.
