Zidane worried about Hinata. He checked all the ways he could for her, however the search got him very little. Her father hadn't kidnapped her home, if someone from the Brotherhood came for her he would have known. He did all the work, if Magneto needed to lash out at one of them it was him, not her. Zidane was very good at watching his own back, and what point would there be to attack him through Hinata, and never tell him.
It took him a little work, but he knows guys, and they know things. He found a few bits and pieces of Japan, which lead him to where Hinata was, and when. Now, if Zidane had any trust for the X-Men and their ability to do things, he would have told them where she was and called it a day. Instead he told them where Shin Sawada was, waited to see what they did with that, and then stole a time machine Tony Stark sent to the school. If anyone saved the girl he really really found beautiful and sweet, it would be him.
So now, after a little work, it was very hard to find a place when you look as foreign as Zidane did. Most people scowled. He borrowed a few clothes and did his best to emulate the accents he heard. He really really should have taken the time to learn Japanese when he was younger. Although it might not have helped due to language being a fluid thing. He kept his words simple, and his smiles nice, tried not to completely kill the pronunciations. The large hats were nice for hiding his hair, which got him a few nice looks from girls. ...he thought, the customs here were different and old so they could just think he was a buffoon.
Eventually he did get directions he understood to the temple, the one Hinata picked in the past, and he went there and waited. The 'borrowed' clothes hiding most of his features, he wasn't sure when Hinata would be there during the day, but she should be there if that message was correct.
"Won't she be surprised to see me," Zidane mused aloud, as he waited patiently for the only girl to spot him as he wandered around.
