Yesterday is history and tomorrow is a mystery (Open to Kakashi's mentor group)
Characters: Kakashi, Naruto, Milly, Tommy, and Alfred
Location: Starting at the front of the school, will travel to a waffle house.
Time: Late morning
Content: Kakashi's mentor group is less than pleased with having anyone other than Ms. Starr as their mentor. Kakashi treats them to waffles.
Warnings: Teenagers being surly due to abandonment issues, and the shock of Kakashi being on time for once.
Format: Starting in third, either is fine.
It was unusual for Kakashi to be punctual, but the sullen, querulous greeting he had received from three of four of his mentor group members (and no response from the fourth either way) made him think that perhaps he should make more of an effort than he usually did to be on time. After all, it wasn't like his classes, wherein penalties would be assigned to students who didn't show up. The mentor groups weren't required, and these teens were missing Karen Starr fiercely. Kakashi was hardly the sort of person to get worked up and overly enthusiastic, but he believed in being dependable when it came to important things. The X-men had entrusted him to be a mentor to these kids, and when they were feeling abandoned, it was important to be reliable.
He stood waiting just inside the front entrance. He was going to borrow one of the school vans. As he waited, he flipped through the pages of a book idly. The book was entitled Make Out Disaster, one in a series of novels by one of Kakashi's favourite authors.
