[Unaware that Toris was actually tuning him, out, Feliks kept babbling on, knee pulled up to his chest as he painted his toenails a bright pink. While sitting on the bed.]

...And then, she was all like, omg that dress is so cute, it's like mine, and I was all, like, um no, I like totallyy saw it first and it's so better for me, duh! And then she's like, ohmaigawd, that's totally not fair, and I was like, I totally don't care it's mine. So she like, kept trying to yank it and I was like, oh my gawd you're such a cow!

[He'd exhausted most of the more comfortable places at this point, even having shared Feliks's bed one night out of desperation to have anywhere comfortable to sleep. And he didn't want to just move down the rows of unoccupied dorms, he would get caught if he was so predictable.]

[Maybe somewhere off-campus.]

[Still focusing on his nail, his tongue poking out slightly from the corner of his mouth as he carefully swiped the polish over his big toenail]

She was like, totally ew, and it sooo wouldn't have suited her complexion and stuff. I mean, it would have look sooo gorgeous on me, and yeah. I was like, just being nice, duh. You know what I mean right, Tori? Tori?

[Pokes him in the side.] Tori like, listen to me!

[Toris hardly noticed the pause, or even his name--well, Feliks's far-too-girly-for-Toris's-tastes nickname for him, but the jab was enough to jerk him out of his thoughts.]

Ah! I'm--just thinking, that's all.

[Pouting at him, Feliks poked him again. He had been talking about something clearly important, and Toris hadn't even been listening to him? So not fair.]

About what? I was like, totally telling you important stuff!

Where I was going to sleep tonight. [He wasn't actually sure if Feliks had payed enough attention to know Toris hadn't been sleeping in his room lately, but it wasn't worth the trouble of coming up with a lie when it was just Feliks.]

Um, like, a bed? Duh. [Rolling his eyes, Feliks shifted his legs, starting on the other foot, devoting most of his attention to that.]

I can't sleep in my room.

Why not? Does it smell or something? Or is like, your roomie totally weird?

[No, I just don't want to be mindread by the teachers.] It's not important. Anyway, I was thinking about going off-campus.

[Tinfoil hats Tori! :D] Off campus? [Thinking thinking, omg brilliant idea!] Like, the mall?! That would be totally awesome!

The mall? ...It's closed by now. And it's closed all night anyway.

So? [Gives him a look. Like things being closed ever stopped them.] It has like, beds and stuff in it and all!

[Oh can you see the desire to sleep in a bed in his eyes it is so tempting] We shouldn't be breaking in places we don't have to.

[Tempttempttempt] We like so have to! You need a place the sleep and stuff. Totally a good reason, right? [Doesn't really need an answer though, because he's already made up his mind...]
