Active/Open - He's a Maniac

Content: Kirk's working out and putting Spock's gift of the new MP3 player and Yumichika's gift of new music to use
Format: I'm writing the main part in prose, but people are free to use action or prose. I will follow whichever
It's the gym, kind of early in the morning but not terribly so. Kirk was your normal sort of teenager where rising with the sun was out of the question, but he tended to break the mold in that he could get up before noon and often did. Working on a farm, however dead it might have been, and then moving to military academy (even if only for a few months) was enough to make sure he never developed that habit except for the days of Saturday and Sunday.
And as if that wasn't enough, Yumichika had taken him out to a Chinese buffet the other day, and he'd probably eaten a lot more than he should have. No, scratch that. He did eat more than he should have - than anyone should have. When he looked back on it he wasn't sure exactly where he had put everything to begin with. But put it away he had and after much consideration he decided he needed more than his teenage boy metabolism to work all of those calories off (of which the majority he thought were empty - oh Chinese food, why so delicious and yet so very unhealthy?).
But as luck would have it, the school had a gym, and thanks to Yumichika he had a ton of new songs to try out. So there he was at the punching bag, pounding away, with the speakers on his MP3 player set to high and Flashback's Maniac yowling through the room.
Oh yeah.This was where it was at.
