Jinx had always been an acrobatic kid. Growing up, she never had more than basic community center gymnastics lessons, but she had taken well to them nonetheless and pushed herself. She enjoyed the challenge, and she always liked to excell. It had also been one of the few aspects of gym class where she stood out in a positive way (her baseball and volleyball skills in particular left something to be desired). After the plane crash, and after she found herself in the 'care' of Brother Blood, that acrobatic ability had been put to use in less savory ways. She had robbed with impunity, more afraid of what would happen if she failed than afraid of the possibility of juvenile hall.

Months after the relevation that led her here, determined to finish her education and lead a more law-abiding life, Jinx was simply using her acrobatic ability for her own enjoyment. The hallways of the Xavier Institute were large. The cielings went higher than the standard eight feet in some buildings, and Jinx had encountered something uncommon in the Xavier Institute: a completely desolate hallway.

Bursting into a run, she leapt up, flipping forward, landing on her feet, then promptly springing onto her hands before flipping over onto her feet again.
