Marius came to a stop at the end of the quiet hallway, and looked left and right, frowning at the identical corridors on both sides. It was just a school - why did he feel as if he were lost inside a museum or something? And at least museums had those nice floor plans that said "you are here" with a red dot. This was just ridiculous. He had taken so many turns and gone up and down too many flights of stairs to even begin trying to figure how to get back to the entrance.
And where was everyone? He didn't sign up for this.
