"It's off!"

Out of nowhere, the blond appeared. His look of surprise had a layer of relief, as he happy to find Gaku up and moving again. Waka wasn't actually sure what he was doing, but why bother asking? Gaku seemed pleased with whatever it was.

Luckily Gaku had good balance, and despite being surprised by Waka's sudden appearance he managed to remain standing on one foot, the other leg in the air ready for a kick.

"Yup!"

Waka lightly clapped in amusement. Nice save.

"You're quick to get moving, but I see why. It must have been like you were reborn. Ahh, how nice~"

"I don't know if I'd go that far," Gaku said with a light laugh, "But it's certainly nice to be rid of them."

He can't help but smile.

"How long has it been off? This can't be the only thing you have been doing, right?"

"About two days, and no, of course I haven't spent them all in the gym. That would just be silly."

"Seem pretty into it though~"

He takes a seat nearby.

"You should do something fun though, how about that Valentine's dance?" Assuming non-students are allowed.

"The dance?" Gaku echoed, raising an eyebrow, "Ah... no thanks."

[ushiwaka_laka]

Waka is now rocking in his chair, pouting. "Oh, come on~ There isn't much to do anyways."

He mumbles, "--Wasn't really planning on going anyways."

"I am not going to a dance for kids, Waka," Gaku shot back. "... if you weren't planning on going, then don't go? It's not like you're obligated."

He blinks.

He honestly doubts it would be honestly all innocent and everyone doing the Chicken Dance. He wouldn't want to mix with that either.

"I suppose, the person I had my eye on... well, is no longer an option."

"Ah... that girl you liked, she left, didn't she?"

He flinches, squinting his eyes with a small frown. "I didn't like her like that."

"Fancied her well enough to try and get her a special gift!~" Gaku teased with a smirk.

Waka's cheeks glowed red. Crossing his arms, he sighs.

"Just... a good friend."

[zerosamurai]

"Well, either way... she went back home, didn't she? Leaving you dateless, friend or otherwise. But like I said, you don't have to go, and if I'm going it's likely going to be security detail because Sheppard is still ill."
