Miku had followed the music--it was loud enough--to the workout area, and grinned to see Gakupo free from his casts. She bounced in with her usual energy, excited for him.

"You've gotten the casts off!"

Having jumped in to a handstand just before Miku arrived, he grinned at her upside-down.

"Yup! Glad to be rid of them, too!"

Miku crouched down to get at somewhat-eye-level with Gaku. "You look happy!" She tilted her head a bit, though, thoughtfully. "But are you sure it's okay to be doing that?"

"Have to get back in shape some how, don't I?" he said, attempting to balance on one hand.

"It'd be bad if you had to get new casts, though," she said, tilting her head a bit more to try and look at him right-side up. She couldn't really turn upside down herself, though--not only did she lack the arm strength, she was wearing a skirt.

"Nah. I'm fine, see?"

And just to prove it he switched hands, then put both back on the floor before flipping his way back on to his feet.

"Sugoi, Gaku-nii is strong~" Miku said with a laugh, standing and backing up a bit to give him more room.

Gaku chuckled sheepishly, flipping his ponytail back over his shoulder.

"I usually don't see you around here. But I guess there's not much to do with all those classes canceled, huh?"

"I followed the music," Miku explained, gesturing to the speakers. "It's nice to find someone from the band, since so many of us have gone back to Japan..."

Gaku's smile faded. He hadn't talked about it much to anyone else, but Meiko leaving had been like a kick in the teeth after what happened with Rin and Len. Honestly he felt like he was being abandoned all over again.

But these were things he didn't say out loud. And probably never would.

"Does seem a bit quieter, doesn't it?"
