[Enjolras, noticing Lelouch's poor attendance in classes, had made it his latest mission to encourage his mentee to be more involved with class politics. With this in mind Enjolras sits himself in the seat beside Lelouch with a rather serious expression.]
[He gives the boy a brisk nod, casting half an eye over the computer screen] Lelouch. How are you?
Good. [had definitely caught a brief glance at what had been on the screen moments ago and supresses a brief smile] I'm very glad to hear it.
[he leans towards Lelouch, somewhat conspiratorially, and cuts to the chase] I was wondering whether you were thinking of taking part in the student council at all?
[Enjolras sits back again, clearly pleased with Lelouch's answer.] Well, what's stopping you? [adds rather pointedly:] Clearly not your school work. Poor attendance aside, I think you'd make a good candidate for several of the positions.
[Full-scale revolution is what's stopping him. brb inciting the Zero Riots]
I am passing all of my classes, Mr. Enjolras. [Nevermind that he could ace them if he actually applied himself.] I was Vice President at Ashford Academy in Calfifornia. [Puts his sunglasses back on, and more properly faces him.]
[Pfff, let's pretend I can spell California better than its Governor can pronounce it.]
Ashford was probably a bit more challenging, considering the fact that the president was the Headmaster's eccentric daughter. That said, we did put on the best Homecoming Carnival in the state. [That is to say, you have put this idea in his head, and he's already got the gears turning.]

Oh really? [amused smile] And how do you think that would compare to being, say, the Vice President at the Xavier Institute?
[more kidnappings, one should imagine]
