Jehan was seated at once of the tables in the staff lounge, and though he himself took up very little room, he had so many papers and books and photocopies spread out around himself that there was hardly any room at all left on the table.
He frowned thoughtfully at a few of the pieces of paper, shuffled through them, selected some which were apparently what he was looking for, and placed them in a small pile to his left. Pausing this for a moment to pull one of the books towards himself, he stuck a highlighter into his mouth and flipped to a pre-marked page, reading through it with an expression of total absorption.
